What happens with my appointment fee?

The appointment fee we implement for off peak appointment services ensures that we can continue offering the unique experience that sets us apart from the high street retailers. Unlike traditional retail stores, we are a made-to-order atelier who conducts the entire process of the business in-house. Every visit is planned and staffed in advance, and the costs associated with hosting and preparing your appointment are incurred whether or not you choose to order your dresses on the day.

We dedicate our time to helping you choose from our collection of 250+ hand crafted bridesmaid dresses, and our schedule often books up months in advance. When an appointment is cancelled or missed, we lose the opportunity to accommodate another bridal party who may have wanted that appointment, which is another reason why the appointment charge is non-refundable.

We hope this explains that the charge is not simply a "booking fee", but rather a contribution to the time, craftsmanship and care that goes into the entire operation under the one roof that is Bridesmaid by JB.
